About The Position
Seasonal Laborer II. Reports to Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to discuss mowing and other daily tasks. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for Loading all equipment needed for daily mowing. Perform all tasks of operations which include mowing, line trimming, blowing, and debri removal. Responsible for unloading, cleaning, and putting all mowing equipment away at the end of the day. Report damaged equipment to supervisor immediately. Read and adhere to Park District mowing standard manual. Parks litter collection Removal of graffiti Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms Pulling weeds Preparation and painting of buildings and equipment Gathering and setting up equipment for special events Water Park maintenance Some weekends as needed. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License
- Must be able to communicate and interact with the public and staff in a positive and friendly manner.
