About The Position

We are now hiring for SEASONAL PARKS LABORERS to join our our Parks Department as seasonal staff. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Play a key role in maintaining our parks! We have a variety of seasonal grounds positions available for this summer! Job tasks include mowing grass, ballfield maintenance, horticulture care (native and formal landscape areas), water route, trail maintenance, trash collection, and tree care.
Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Illinois driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend 95% of work time performing physical labor, standing, and/or walking.
