About The Position

Swire Coca-Cola is one of the largest bottlers and distributors of Coca-Cola in North America, distributing over 50 beverage brands and flavors across 13 states with a team of 8,000+ employees. As a Seasonal Order Builder within the Warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring customers receive correct orders in a timely manner, keeping their stores stocked. This involves building delivery loads by pulling defined quantities of products onto pallets to fulfill customer orders for shipment. The work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing powered industrial trucks, and requires adherence to warehouse safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) required
• Ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after hire date
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; may be repetitive

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Prior experience using a pallet jack (manual or power) or forklift preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize voice-picking software and operate powered industrial equipment (pallet jack and/or hand truck) to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallet(s)
• Build accurate, quality product orders and ensure the order is secure for transport before being loaded into the truck for delivery
• Stage completed pallets in designated shipping area(s)
• Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment
• Complete training requirements
• Restock product in picking areas as needed
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
