About The Position

The Merchandiser’s primary function is to be an ambassador for the company by fostering good relationships with large store accounts by stocking shelves, displays, end caps and merchandise with fresh, quality product.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred
0-3 years of general work experience
Ability to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50 lbs.; bend over, reach above head height and kneeling
Work with minimal supervision; be a self-starter, team player and have the motivation to learn
Previous sales or retail experience
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Operate and maneuver a pallet jack with a weight load of approximately 2500 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record are required
Flexible to work a schedule that may include daily overtime, holidays, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

Maintain appropriate product levels in various beverage sections throughout accounts including shelf allocation and cold equipment
Ensure products are stocked with label & logo facing the consumer
Maintain and clean shelving, coolers, racks, gliders and any other company owned equipment
Rotate product with older product in front of newer product
Responsible for keeping the store’s back stock neat, clean and organized
Follow all appropriate food handling, safety and sanitation standards
Maintains professional, team relationship with co-workers, customers, and shoppers
Communicate all opportunities and product needs to supervisors
Responsible for operating company vehicle in a safe and lawful manner
Professionally represent the company by following all policies and procedures.
