About The Position

Maintenance Tech 1 is responsible for the daily repairs and preventative maintenance of all equipment throughout the facility. This candidate must be able to work independently or under direct supervision to safely perform basic repairs on machinery, electrical, or mechanical equipment in compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School education required with some college preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• At least two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience
• Must have proven mechanical skills
• Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment
• Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate time management and organizational skills
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed throughout all maintenance operations and activities
• Ensure work is performed on time
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to prevent reoccurrence
• Perform Preventative Maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
• Perform other duties as assigned
