About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and safety-oriented Seasonal Local CDL Class B Driver to join our team in the New Hampshire area. In this role, you will safely transport goods on local, intrastate routes while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class B license and current Medical Card
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background and Clearinghouse checks
  • Ability to operate straight trucks and dump trucks
  • Willingness and ability to travel to other local branch locations as needed
  • Knowledge of local roads and traffic laws
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) preferred or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle, including straight trucks and dump truck, in all weather conditions
  • Operate a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) for loading and unloading materials
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and DOT regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
  • Load, unload, and secure materials safely and efficiently
  • Connect and disconnect trailers and mounted equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required paperwork
  • Follow dispatch instructions, delivery schedules, and assigned routes
  • Utilize GPS, maps, and other navigation tools effectively
  • Verify deliveries for accuracy and obtain proof of delivery signatures
  • Communicate delays, issues, or concerns with dispatch or management
  • Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Fuel and prepare vehicles for next-day operations
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service at all times
  • Report vehicle issues and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems
  • Maintain fuel receipts and required documentation
  • Travel to and support other locations within the region as needed to meet business demands
  • Support team operations and complete additional duties as assigned
