About The Position

Seasonal intern is primarily an architectural student, with experience working in an architectural office, working on a temporary basis for the summer or one semester. They perform a wide variety of tasks under supervision but have enough skill to do certain tasks on their own. They possess more advanced skills than a Seasonal Intern 1. Assignments will help continue developing core competencies and put classroom teachings into practice.

Requirements

  • Essential Functions and Competencies
  • Assisting project teams: Producing drawings for ongoing projects. Drawings are typically executed in Revit.
  • Construction administration clerk (process submittals & manage logs)
  • Printing, copying and/or scanning of drawings
  • Assisting project teams in producing presentations:
  • Assisting with fabricating materials boards
  • Dry mounting drawings or graphics
  • Assisting with 2D & 3D graphics. Involvement will be based on an employee’s understanding of the software programs used.
  • Assisting in the model shop.
  • Assisting WBA in gathering data from previous projects to create a comprehensive theater reference database.
  • Producing area take offs and documenting in an Excel spreadsheet
  • Producing publication quality plans, sections and diagrams of projects
  • Creating scale comparison drawings for future reference.
