Qualified candidates will be paid $21 per hour. The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location. Duties and Responsibilities: Verify the function, inventory and job labeling diagram Disconnect and package personal computing devices on the front end of the office relocation process Reconnect the same devices in the new office and bring devices to the log-on prompt to verify functions Maintain and secure all required tools and equipment; all required tools and equipment must be with the installer at work each day Meet with assigned supervisor at the start of each job to review the job assignment Successfully complete the assigned workloads in the time frame established by the assigned supervisor, reporting any deficiencies that occur Perform the following functions: complete an inventory of existing equipment, complete a detailed diagram of existing set up, label IT equipment, disconnect monitors, printers, LAN cables and peripherals from desktop stations and unplug cords, safely pack IT equipment, read the inventory of existing equipment, set up monitors according to the order of labels, manage wires, power systems on and test for functionality, complete a reconnect checklist, attach protective devices to the flat screen monitors Inspect product and installation by performing a written pre-punch and post-move walk through of each room built; noting any damages, or other conditions requiring action

Requirements

  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or two to three years related experience and/or training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; highly customer service oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of personal computing devices, cabling and office technology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and effectively software applications including warehouse management software, timekeeping, and other applications used in the daily performance of job duties.
