About The Position

Historic New England seeks a seasonal part-time Guide to work at National Historic Landmark Roseland Cottage (aka The Pink House) in Woodstock, Connecticut for the 2026 season. Guide will conduct tours of the museum property and assist with daily museum operations including ticket and membership sales. In addition to the presentation of interpretative tours, guides will participate in daily care of the museum spaces and collections and assist the Site Manager with public programs and group tours. Training is provided.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with the public
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have an interest in inclusive history
• Be comfortable working with computers
• Must be available some weekend days and commit to employment through the end of the 2026 season, June - October

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service desirable
