Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, ensuring a consistent guest experience by setting, stocking, accurately pricing, and signing products on the sales floor. These positions offer knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience in supporting a guest-first culture, understanding of retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience in executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and achieve sales goals.
Requirements

- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
- Deliver for guests
- Provide service to guests that makes them say "I LOVE TARGET!"
- Stock, Set and Sell Target products
- Make it easy for the guest to feel welcomed, inspired and rewarded
- Accurately handle cash register operations
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds
