About The Position
Riverstone Communities is seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper to join their team from June to November. This hands-on role involves overseeing the curb appeal and maintenance of the community to ensure it meets Riverstone Communities’ standards. The position requires someone who enjoys variety in their daily tasks and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Requirements
- Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Need to be comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions
- Willingness to clean up after individuals
- Basic computer skills, i.e. email and internet
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license
- Eye for detail
- Specific maintenance knowledge/skills will be tested for accuracy
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of experience in general labor and/or landscaping preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee the curb appeal and maintenance of the community and make sure it is up to Riverstone Communities’ standards
- Picking up trash around the community, including cleaning fire pits and campsites
- Regular groundskeeping such as lawn mowing, planting, weeding/weed eating, etc
- Capability to complete day to day duties with minimal supervision
- Complete maintenance work orders in an efficient and timely manner
- Adhere to all safety laws and regulations
- Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies
- Operate honey wagon as necessary
- Attend daily morning staff meetings to communicate goals and objectives
