As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintain the beauty, safety, and cleanliness of our outdoor spaces, including walkways, lawns, gardens, and parking areas. Your work sets the tone for residents, visitors, and staff the moment they arrive. Requirements

Valid PA Driver’s License
Team Collaboration: Work closely with Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Environmental Services teams to support cross-departmental efforts in keeping the campus in top shape.

Responsibilities

Cares for Campus Grounds: Proactively maintains a clean and inviting campus by picking up litter, sweeping sidewalks and curbs, raking leaves, planting flowers and trees, laying mulch, seeding/reseeding lawns, weeding, trimming hedges, and removing debris such as limbs and stones.
Operates Lawn Equipment: Uses push and power mowers to maintain healthy lawn areas, including trimming and edging for a polished appearance.
Monitors Plant Health: Regularly inspects flowers, shrubs, and trees for signs of insects, fungi, or other pests, taking proactive steps to ensure plant vitality.
Prepares for Seasonal Changes: Digs up bulbs and roots and properly stores them in preparation for fall and winter as directed.
Performs Full-Scope Snow Removal: Takes charge of snow and ice management, including plowing, shoveling, and applying ice melt to walkways and parking lots to ensure campus safety.
Keeps Workspaces Clean: Maintains an organized and tidy grounds shop, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and accessible.
Utilizes Work Order Software: Efficiently documents tasks using WorxHub for preventive maintenance tracking and work order completion.
Prioritizes Safety: Follows all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and performs additional duties as assigned with a commitment to a safe working environment.
Other Tasks Include: Power-washing, event setups, resident room moves, mail delivery.
