About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Technical Services personnel and other employees to manage trials in assigned areas to achieve and exceed trial objectives. Support field activities with other employees in accordance with protocols. Operating field equipment tillage, planting, spraying, harvest. Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on field and plant equipment. Aid in data collection and entry for research trials. Lead data collection efforts for experimental trials. Field scouting, field data collection, water management. Prepare for and assist with RiceTec field days. Maintaining confidentiality of all work and conversations. Additional duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent. Actively enrolled in college or university pursuing a degree. Valid driver’s license. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. Must be able to lift 50-pound bag of seed.
