About The Position

Join the culinary team at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards, where fresh, seasonal cuisine meets one of Virginia’s most beautiful vineyard settings. As we move into our busy season, we’re seeking Seasonal Event Cooks to support our kitchen team through late October. This is a great opportunity for cooks looking to gain experience in a high-volume, professional kitchen while working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Requirements

  • Some prior kitchen experience preferred (but not required)
  • Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen fundamentals
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to stay organized under pressure
  • Availability for weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

  • Assist with prep and execution for private events and banquets
  • Support Tasting Room service as needed
  • Work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Follow direction from senior kitchen staff and contribute to smooth service
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
