Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S. Are you looking for a Seasonal Opportunity at Aqua, a subsidiary of Essential Utilities, Inc.? We have great opportunities available from May through August (with the possibility of applying for full time positions following the end of the seasonal employment period). Work schedules are up to 40 hours per week. In this role, the primary responsibilities are leading an environmental sampling effort by travelling throughout the commonwealth, reviewing system plans, updating if necessary and ensuring approval by VDH, identifying sites for voluntary requests to collect samples and delivering sample kits to customers and working with Aqua’s compliance and sampling team. Opportunities are available in the following geographic area(s): Denver, NC Cary, NC

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedules
  • Must be able to follow direction and implement safety procedures at all times
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Maintain daily log sheet
  • Inputs computer data entry as needed
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and the public
