What You'll Do (Dog Boarding & Animal Care Responsibilities) As a Seasonal Lodging Attendant, you play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of dogs staying overnight with us. Daily responsibilities include: Providing compassionate, attentive care for dogs of all breeds and sizes Safely handling dogs using proper dog handling techniques Feeding dogs according to detailed care instructions Taking dogs on potty breaks and nature walks throughout the day Monitoring dog behavior and reporting any concerns to leadership Cleaning and sanitizing dog rooms, play yards, and facility areas Maintaining fresh water, clean bedding, and comfortable lodging spaces Performing laundry and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift Taking photos/videos of dogs for updates and social media when requested Supporting team members and maintaining strong communication between shifts This role is fast-paced, hands-on, and active -you will be on your feet for the majority of your shift.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and strengths
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Comfortable with the messy side of pet care (cleaning accidents, odors, etc.)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stay active throughout the shift
  • Able to lift and manage dogs 50–60+ lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Must work every other weekend (required)
  • Open availability strongly preferred
  • Shifts available between 6:20 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Typical shifts: 6:20 AM – 2:00 PM 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Some mid-shift variations
