The Digital Content Creator helps tell the stories of Friends of Acadia’s people, programs, and events through engaging social content, website posts, and stories in Acadia magazine. As a member of the Communications Team, they’ll create compelling content that drives home Friends of Acadia’s impact in Acadia National Park, drives engagement with current supporters, and helps grow membership. A successful Digital Content Creator is a creative communicator with strong writing skills; experience creating engaging digital content (social media, vertical video, blog posts); has a solid grasp of social media trends; and has a comfort with basic graphic design (Canva). This person is organized, creative, and collaborative, and they will work with the Communications Team to create high-quality and visually appealing content that is on brand. The position requires some office time in Bar Harbor and on-location shoots/interviews/content gathering in Acadia National Park and the surrounding communities.
