About The Position

As a Seasonal Customer Support Representative, youll be the voice of TaxSlayer, helping customers navigate their tax filing experience with confidence and ease. This is a temporary, work-from-home opportunity during our peak season.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Previous customer support or related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Comfortable using customer support software and systems
Professional and empathetic in challenging interactions
Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps upload / 25 Mbps download)
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Experienced tax professionals
Desktop computer tech support specialists
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and availability
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, escalating when necessary
Maintain accurate customer records in the support system
Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs
Meet performance goals for response time, satisfaction, and quality
Stay informed about TaxSlayer products and services
Follow company policies, including privacy and data protection
Maintain a quiet, professional home workspace
