Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- 5+ year experience preparing 1040 tax returns
- 5+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual income tax returns (Form 1040)
- Prepare business tax returns (1120S and 1065)
- Maintain and reconcile client books in QuickBooks Online
- Process bank and credit card transactions, payroll, and journal entries
- Communicate with clients regarding missing information and tax questions
- Assist with other accounting and tax tasks as needed
