About The Position
We are a small, client-focused CPA firm, located in Winter Garden, FL for over 50 years. We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online and preparing individual tax returns (Form 1040) .
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- 3+ year experience preparing 1040 tax returns
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile client books in QuickBooks Online
- Process bank and credit card transactions, payroll, and journal entries
- Prepare and review financial reports
- Prepare individual income tax returns (Form 1040)
- Communicate with clients regarding missing information and tax questions
- Assist with other accounting and tax tasks as needed
