About The Position

The Seasonal Assistant, Corporate Relations supports the Development Department’s corporate fundraising and sponsorship initiatives. Working closely with the Manager of Corporate Relations, this role assists in coordinating corporate sponsorship activations, managing corporate hospitality and events, and supporting donor stewardship activities. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality sponsor experiences throughout the concert season while contributing to the success of Ravinia’s corporate fundraising campaign. The role offers hands-on experience in event coordination, sponsorship management, corporate fundraising, and donor relations within a nonprofit performing arts organization.

Requirements

  • Exceptional guest service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding ability to manage multiple priorities with great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs) and the ability to quickly learn and utilize various technology platforms
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent. At least two years of college experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in arts administration, marketing or business preferred
  • Event coordination experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Document sponsor recognition and events throughout the season
  • Capture photos of sponsorship activations and displays
  • Collect documentation of print, online, and onsite sponsor recognition
  • Development of the report template (Summer)  and  preparation of customized sponsorship year-end reports using marketing recognition documentation and impression data (Summer/Fall)
  • Coordinate onsite sponsor displays and activations with corporate clients
  • Establish event timelines and coordinate logistics with facility staff
  • Oversee sponsor display setup and implementation during events
  • Coordinate delivery of branded promotional items and sponsor materials
  • Coordinate sponsor entertainment benefits, including concert ticketing and parking arrangements
  • Fulfill requests for tickets, dining reservations, and parking for corporate executives and guests
  • Support implementation of sponsorship agreements and benefit fulfillment
  • Draft sponsor acknowledgments and benefit communications
  • Prepare pledge letters and assist with invoice processing
  • Submit gift entry forms and maintain accurate records of sponsor transactions
  • Assist in organizing and executing corporate hospitality events throughout the concert season
  • Support planning and implementation of the Corporate Night Reception and additional sponsor events
  • Assist with onsite event management and sponsor support during performances
  • Provide support for donor concierge phone and email communications
  • Assist with Development Department events including: Season Preview events Donor receptions Annual Golf Outing Music Matters Benefit Women’s Board Gala
