Position Description: Seasonal Administrative Intern This position will assist the Administration team to ensure that the increase in volume of workload during the Spring, summer, and Fall seasons is efficiently processed. Responsibilities will include payment processing, responding to client questions and concerns regarding invoices and payment applications, and applicable projects and tasks relating to our Administration team. This role is full-time during summer break, with available hours to begin training in the spring. The expectation of this role is to work on-site in Fridley, MN.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree in a related field.
  • Ability to effectively communicate on the phone and through email/text in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Computer skills including the ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail will be key to success in this role.
  • Ability to read, write, clearly speak, and understand English.
  • Favorable drug test and acceptable background and driving record are also required.
  • This role is onsite in Fridley, MN.

  • Previous office work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process a large volume of payments.
  • Monitor shared email boxes, effectively respond to clients, and escalate concerns that should be reviewed by other employees.
  • Identify the source of billing and payment application discrepancies and reconcile the variance.
  • Operate our letter folding machine and postage machine to ensure that communications are received and sent efficiently.
  • Sort, open, and deliver mail to other departments each day.
  • Communicate effectively & professionally (written and verbal) with people both inside and outside the company.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Cooperate with management to complete any other tasks as assigned.
