We are searching for an experienced Search Engine and Geographic Optimization Intern- Summer 2026 at our Lisle - Illinois facility. Dexter, the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets is looking for a curious, detail-oriented Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Geographic Optimization (GEO) Intern to support our digital marketing efforts at our Lisle, IL location or Remote. What You’ll Do You’ll work closely with our marketing team to evaluate search performance, optimize content, and improve both external SEO and on-site search experiences. This is a hands-on role where your work will directly impact visibility, traffic, and user engagement. Analyze website and search performance using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics Conduct keyword research and identify content and search gaps Assist with on-page SEO optimization (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links, content alignment) Work with an agency on GEO projects. Requirements

  • Strong interest in SEO, digital marketing, analytics, or content strategy
  • Understanding of basic SEO concepts (or strong desire to learn quickly)
  • Comfort working with data and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Organized, curious, and willing to ask “why”
  • Ability to balance analysis with action
  • You must be actively enrolled an accredited university working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree program during the internship.
  • Relevant fields of study include Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics, Information Systems, UX, Journalism, or related disciplines. Students from other majors with demonstrated interest or experience in SEO and search optimization are encouraged to apply.
