About The Position

Help to ensure that all uniforms are maintained in accordance with Company
standards. Distributes uniforms to associates by department, measures the
associate and performs alterations. Operates commercial sewing, embroidery,
blind stitch, and heat seal machines. Hoop and clamp garments to be embroidered,
ensuring straight and correct placement of designs and trim, clean and fold
embroidered items. Processes all name badge requests for new hires, department
changes, damaged or lost tags. Assists in taking inventory to ensure that the
correct number of uniforms is available.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Up to three years related seamstress experience or training
• The ability to operate all commercial sewing equipment with professional alteration skills and results
• Previous experience using commercial sewing machine, embroidery machine, blind stitch, and heat seal machine
• Have computer and graphic design knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of embroidering on different fabrics is required
• The ability to analyze and solve alteration problems
