The Seamstress/Tailor is also responsible for repairing all damaged linen; maintain upholstery, mending bedspreads, and producing rags or linen from damaged linen. This is a full-time position. $19.85 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous Seamstress experience required.
- Ability to operate sewing machines and other sewing equipment.
- Ability to hand sew small pieces of cloth by possessing good hand/eye coordination.
Responsibilities
- Make alterations and repairs to employee uniforms and other items within the hotel.
- Affix name labels and inventory tags to all uniforms.
- May assist the uniform attendants with laundering, steaming, and issuing uniforms, as needed.
- Ensuring all seamstress supplies, buttons, labels, and inventory tags are always ordered and stocked.
