JOB SUMMARY: Oversees all operations of WDCE and delegates tasks when needed. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Convene and plan weekly Executive Board meetings, General Staff meetings, and other meetings as needed Manage and oversee all WDCE personnel, operations, events, and equipment Work alongside the Station Manager and Faculty Advisor to abide by University and FCC regulations Establish ad-hoc committees as necessary Assign all other unspecified duties to other members Interpret the rules and regulations for the organization Collaborate with university departments for events Other duties and/or projects as assigned by the professional staff QUALIFICATIONS: Must have prior experience of 1-semester minimum on WDCE Executive Board Must possess independent problem-solving skills Must be self-motivated and possess a growth mindset willing to take on new challenges Must work a minimum of 4 office hours per week Preferred qualification of a 1-hour (minimum) on-air show Must attend all weekly Executive Board meetings and General Staff Meetings (unless previously-approved absence) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Forms and social media platforms Strong communication and administrative skills Ability to multi-task and work independently Approx. 15-20 hours/week Note to Applicant: This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for performance.
