What You'll Do: As the Director of Sales Development, you’ll lead and scale a high-performing SDR organization, managing a team of SDR managers and ensuring alignment with the broader sales and marketing teams. You’ll play a critical role in driving pipeline generation, optimizing processes, and mentoring managers to support the growth of the SDR function. Your leadership will directly influence the success of our SDR team as they deliver qualified opportunities to Account Executives (AEs) and contribute to the overall sales motion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales or sales development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing managers.
  • Proven success in building and scaling SDR teams, including hiring and mentoring SDR managers.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding pipeline and team performance goals.
  • Expertise in sales development tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, SalesLoft) and metrics-driven management.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Cloud, Technology or SaaS industry, particularly in high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with go-to-market strategies for AI, cloud, or enterprise infrastructure solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change and implement process improvements.
  • Passion for building diverse and inclusive teams that drive innovation and success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for SDR managers, coaching them to develop high-performing SDR teams.
  • Design and implement scalable processes for lead qualification, prospecting, and pipeline generation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and RevOps to align on lead quality, territory plans, and campaign execution.
  • Set team and manager goals, track performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to improve team effectiveness.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence within the SDR organization.
  • Build and refine SDR training programs to ensure managers are equipped to upskill their teams on tools, outreach strategies, and industry best practices.
