About The Position

As a Test Automation Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing , and maintaining robust test automation frameworks for patient scheduling, registration, and payment collection. You will work closely with developers, product owners , and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions that power physician practices to be more efficient. Requirements

5+ years of experience as an SDET, Software Engineer, or QA Automation Engineer in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C# (bonus for multi-language proficiency).
Hands-on experience building automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
Proven experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with unit, integration, regression, and performance testing methodologies.
Experience working with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong debugging and analytical skills with a shift-left mindset toward quality.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to partner cross-functionally with developers, DevOps, product managers, and QA teams.
In-depth knowledge of information systems and the ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information
Bachelor’s Degree and/ or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, K6)
Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement scalable, reusable, and reliable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
Collaborate with software engineers to ensure test coverage for new features and bug fixes.
Perform code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation readiness.
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
Maintain and enhance existing automation infrastructure to support evolving product requirements.
Analyze test results, triage issues , and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Contribute to test strategy, documentation, and reporting of automation metrics and test coverage.
