About The Position

14572 - Scrum Master (Hybrid) – Austin, TX Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid, 3 days remote with 2 days (Mondays and Thursdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Requirements

• Experience serving as a Scrum Master for Agile teams delivering technology or data platforms (8 years)
• Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives (8 years)
• Proven ability to identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery (8 years)
• Experience coaching teams on self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement (8 years)
• Experience using Agile lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira) (8 years)
• Ability to support reporting on velocity, sprint metrics, and delivery progress (8 years)
• Experience working in enterprise or large-scale IT initiatives (8 years)

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on state or government technology projects (4 years)
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) (4 years)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and retrospectives
• Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery and performance
• Coach cross-functional teams on Agile principles, self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Support delivery of enterprise data, analytics, and modernization initiatives
• Report on team velocity, sprint metrics, and overall delivery progress to stakeholders
• Serve as a servant leader and coach to the product owner, development team, and stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with program and organizational goals while promoting Agile best practices and transparency.
