We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple projects and initiatives under Contact Center Desktop Fleet. The candidate is expected to have strong Scrum Master skills and will work closely with all stakeholders to successfully steer project outcomes. This role involves working with the squad to deliver solutions for technological initiatives and capabilities aligned to various Businesses, collaborating with core development teams and other support teams to drive efficient planning and execution. Understanding business demands is crucial for informed decisions. The position offers an interesting mix of business and technical aspects, requiring strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, and proficient verbal and written communications. The team works extensively with other IT members in all MSWM locations, demanding a strong work ethic and extensive hands-on participation. The ideal candidate embodies core values of being client-focused, leading with excellence, doing the right thing, and being team-oriented. They should bring knowledge of Agile principles and ceremonies, expertise in collaborating across complex organizations, removing impediments, and ensuring team progress towards shared goals and deliverables. Requirements

  • At least 7 or more years of experience as Scrum Master and project management experience with successful delivery experience in the Financial Services domain
  • A change agent with a passion for collaborative working to support our teams and improve and deliver exceptional output
  • Experience working in Agile teams and an understanding of Agile practices
  • Proficiency facilitating Squad Scrum meetings to ensure they are solutions focused
  • Experience helping Agile teams establish and adhere to norms and practices
  • Ability to collaborate with team members on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks
  • A continuous improvement mindset and dedication to finding creative ways of working
  • Ability to influence behavior without having formal organizational hierarchy
  • A dedication to cross function collaboration communication and breaking down of silos
  • Work directly in a squad to drive performance using Agile values Practices and processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
  • Ability to proficiently deliver verbal and written communications
  • Strong work ethic and requires extensive hands on participation

Responsibilities

  • Support the work of the squad by maintaining the backlog and facilitating Agile ceremonies like stand ups sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Monitor team performance through the Squads metrics dashboard and help identify continuous improvement opportunities to support the team to work smarter and more effectively
  • Provide transparency to Fleet Delivery Lead with respect to risks blockers impediments at Scrum of Scrum calls and recommend impediment strategies for effective and efficient operations
  • Conduct squad assessments to ensure agile principles and best practices are being met and achieved
  • Partner with Product Owners to plan quarterly IBR with focus on Strategic Objectives initiative and Capabilies based on business roadmap as well as prioritizing and executing modernization and hygiene work items
  • Participate in all Squad and Fleet ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums IBR Planning IBR check-ins and Fleet Demo
  • Communicate effectively proactively with recommendations for continuously improving the squads
  • Ensure Jira hygiene is maintained daily on Jira Board
  • Maintain existing Jira dashboards and build new informative dashboards to communicate data and drive performance improvements
