As a Scrum Master Sr. within PNC's Information Technology Group, you will be based in PNC's Lakewood, Colorado location. The Scrum Master Sr. supports and facilitates a number of Scrum Team(s) with varying levels of complexity in various functions by fostering Agile values and practices. They ensure team adherence to Agile principles and provide coaching to the team(s), including newly formed teams, on how to execute the Scrum Framework. They may provide guidance to less experienced Scrum Masters. The role involves organizing and facilitating ceremonies, recommending and executing on improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and mitigate risk. They track and communicate overall team progress, providing visibility to stakeholders, and take a broader perspective to provide solutions to complex challenges. The Scrum Master Sr. serves as a filter to remove impediments to progress identified by the team(s) and protects the team(s) from outside influences to ensure focus on Scrum Team priorities. They partner with the Product Owner(s) to ensure backlog items are prioritized based on business value and are ready for the team(s). PNC Employees are expected to be Customer Focused, knowledgeable of values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations, and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. They are also expected to manage risk by assessing and effectively managing all risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to and support of PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities
