About The Position

Trilogy Innovations is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a federal customer in a fully remote capacity. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a multi-year effort to modernize large-scale, mission-critical systems that support essential government operations. You will work alongside a high-performing, collaborative team focused on delivering smart, innovative technology solutions that solve real problems and drive meaningful outcomes. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to impactful, enterprise-level initiatives. Location: The primary place of performance will be at FBI facilities in Winchester, VA. Clearance Level: All roles require a current, active Top Secret security clearance with the capability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) as requested by the Government. Contractor employees will be subject to counterintelligence (CI) focused polygraph examinations based upon where they are assigned in the FBI and whether they will be processed for a category of SCI access. Core Hours: The Contractor’s normal workday will typically be within the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). Core work hours are 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. ET You are a confident, experienced Scrum Master who knows how to lead teams through complexity and deliver results that matter. You bring structure without rigidity, balancing Agile discipline with practical execution to keep work moving forward. You are a strong communicator who can engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, translating priorities into clear, actionable direction. You build trust quickly, lead with accountability, and create an environment where teams are empowered to perform at their best. You are proactive and solutions-oriented, anticipating challenges, removing roadblocks, and keeping teams focused on outcomes. You take pride in driving continuous improvement and elevating team performance over time. You are comfortable operating in a federal, compliance-driven environment and understand the expectations that come with supporting mission-critical work. You hold an active Secret Security Clearance and are ready to contribute from day one.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of work experience.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with the capability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) as requested by the Government
  • Experience working in an agile environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting federal programs or working within GovCon environments
  • Familiarity with large-scale system modernization or enterprise transformation efforts
  • Experience working across multiple Agile teams or within scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, etc.)
  • Background in software development, systems engineering, or technical program delivery
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management platforms
  • Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist, or similar)
  • Experience operating in security or compliance-driven environments (CMMC, NIST, or similar frameworks)

Responsibilities

  • Delivers projects and products using appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently.
  • Works with the Product Manager to define the roadmap for any given product and translating this into user stories.
  • Leads the collaborative, dynamic planning process – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team.
  • Matrix-managing a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ensures all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production).
  • Actively and openly shares knowledge of best practices.
  • Migrate all current-system functionality from the mainframes and operate within a cloud-based environment (AWS GovCloud)
  • Incorporate modern name search capabilities.
  • Expand image handling to accept larger files and support additional file formats, such as PDF.
  • Transition investigative search to Elasticsearch, providing a faster response and report creation time for law enforcement.
  • Build new services to follow a microservices architecture and run within containers using the OpenShift platform
  • Transition database functionality from IBM DB2 to the appropriate cloud data store.
  • Update NIEM schemas and IEPDs to allow agencies to use updated functionality and speed up the dot-delimited message format retirement.
