About The Position

Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking a Scrum Master II to provide servant-leadership and mentorship to multiple cross-functional agile teams. You will coach teams in Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices, foster self-organization, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement, and ensure impediments are addressed while keeping stakeholders informed. Location: Buffalo, NY Duration: 6 months

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 4+ years on an agile team, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master, or equivalent experience.
• Scaled Agile experience, PI Planning, and Risk Management expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in multiple technology team roles (PM, UX, BA, Developer, Tester).
• Knowledge of Agile/Lean principles, Design Thinking, and digital capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication; proven ability to lead through influence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams on agile practices including user stories, TDD/ATDD, story mapping, and continuous integration.
• Promote continuous improvement and foster a high-performing team culture.
• Address blockers beyond team authority and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with other Agile Leaders to improve Agile adoption across the organization.
• Mentor less experienced Scrum Masters and facilitate learning opportunities.
• Maintain internal control standards and adhere to risk/regulatory policies.
