Screw Inspector - 1st Shift
About The Position
Milacron is looking for a Screw Inspector to join our team in Mount Orab, OH! The Screw Inspector inspects injection and extrusion screws following detail drawings, layouts, and other written and verbal specifications for quality and compliance. Work You’ll Do: Inspect and document screw detail parts Perform packaging and shipping duties Conducts final part inspections Assist with in-process inspections Complete and maintain quality charts/records for management Communicates directly with team members to resolve quality issues Train/guide associates, sales, Engineering and customers
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Knowledge of basic measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, thread & plug gages, height gage, optical comparator, knowledge of CMM is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Working knowledge of E-1 (JD Edwards) is preferred
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word is preferred
- Have extensive knowledge of OSS and option requirements
- Working knowledge of OSHA machine safety signs
- Associates degree in machining or engineering; or 2+ years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
