Detailed description will be provided during interview. Independent contractor position with flexible schedule. 15+ or 25+ hours a week. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Screener to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting screenings to assess individuals' mental well-being. You will play a critical role in identifying mental health issues and providing appropriate referrals or recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient care, and an understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

Requirements

• St. Lucie County; office in person.
• Master's Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work or related fields;
• Licensed (LMHC, LCSW);
• Experience in working with children and families;
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• A background in healthcare, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations are essential.
• Previous experience in a clinical or community health setting is advantageous.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or training in art therapy is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments.
• Gather and document relevant health information from individuals in a clear and organized manner.
