Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for preparing, baking and merchandising all artisan bakery products under the direct supervision of the bakery manager or bakery first clerk to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Maintains a clean and sanitized workstation in accordance with corporate and state sanitation regulations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConsistently work to provide fast, friendly and efficient customer service at all times. Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request. Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station, according to 5S standards, at all times. Follow production list as developed by the bakery manager or first clerk. Understand the proper use of the ovens, to include the loading and unloading procedures. Ensure that all bread dough is mixed, fermented, and molded to corporate specifications. Responsible for assisting and/or creating customer special orders. Responsible for operating bakery department equipment including but not limited to ovens, mixers, and utensils. Must be familiar with state and corporate safety standards. Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
