About The Position

Performs routine recreational service work keeping official scorebook(s) and/or operates scoreboard for various sports including baseball, softball, lacrosse, football, soccer and basketball. Performs related work as required. Shift Hours and/or Days Worked: Monday-Thursday, Saturday and Sunday- evenings and weekends Hours Required for this position: 12-18

Requirements

Completion of 8th grade secondary school
Thorough knowledge of sport rules and timing practices of baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, football and basketball.
Ability to operate electronic scoreboard with limited training and oversight.
Ability to effectively communicate with game officials, coaches, players and other staff.
Subject to a complete criminal history and Child Protective Services background search with acceptable results.
Must be able to perform the job as described in the Physical and Environmental Demands section of this job description.
Must be a minimum of 16 years old and able to work various weekday evenings from 6:00-10:00pm, Saturdays 8:00am-10:00pm, and Sundays 1:00-10:00pm with schedule negotiated with Athletics Staff.
