About The Position

Scientist – Protein & Structural Biology – Lentigen Technology, Inc.

Duties:

Conduct computational modeling and simulations of protein structures.
Collaborate with experimental biologists to design new constructs and mutants
based on structural analysis. Develop computational methodologies and strategies
in analysis of proteins. Develop and maintain databases for protein structures.
Utilize machine learning techniques for pattern recognition and predictive
modeling in protein engineering.

Requirements

• PhD in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering or related field
• One year of experience as Researcher or related occupation
• Demonstrated experience with: server-based structure prediction methods (I-TASSER), predictive modeling using Python and Linux command line, protein crystallization and crystallography, protein expression and characterization, assay design, designing and executing immune cell function assays, determining antigen specific cytotoxicity and T cell proliferation, utilizing RT-PCR and qPCR to analyze cell expression, multicolor flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry
