The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Scientist III to join the Department of Antibody Engineering. In this pivotal role, you will drive the discovery and design of next-generation antibody-based therapeutics and spearhead initiatives to develop and implement cutting-edge platforms that accelerate antibody discovery and engineering workflows. As a technical leader within multidisciplinary teams, you will bridge the gap between innovative protein design and translational drug development. The position requires a balance of "at-the-bench" laboratory experimentation and the strategic analysis of high-dimensional datasets to provide actionable insights that shape project trajectories.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics, Molecular and Cell Biology, Structural Biology, Chemical Biology, or related disciplines or a BS/MS degree with 8+ years of industry research experience.
- Expertise in molecular biology techniques as well as protein design/engineering and protein biochemistry are essential.
- Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new techniques and problem-solve.
- This position requires working effectively within multidisciplinary teams from our Research and Development organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- Sustained record of productivity and innovation in the form of publications or patents.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in computational methods and data science for protein design is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with yeast, phage, or mammalian display platforms is a plus.
