We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Scientist III to join the Department of Antibody Engineering. In this pivotal role, you will drive the discovery and design of next-generation antibody-based therapeutics and spearhead initiatives to develop and implement cutting-edge platforms that accelerate antibody discovery and engineering workflows. As a technical leader within multidisciplinary teams, you will bridge the gap between innovative protein design and translational drug development. The position requires a balance of "at-the-bench" laboratory experimentation and the strategic analysis of high-dimensional datasets to provide actionable insights that shape project trajectories. Who You Are You have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics, Molecular and Cell Biology, Structural Biology, Chemical Biology, or related disciplines or a BS/MS degree with 8+ years of industry research experience. Prior antibody engineering or drug development expertise are not essential, and the position provides an excellent environment to build these skills. This position requires working effectively within multidisciplinary teams from our Research and Development organizations.

Requirements

  • Expertise in molecular biology techniques as well as protein design/engineering and protein biochemistry are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new techniques and problem-solve.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Sustained record of productivity and innovation in the form of publications or patents.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in computational methods and data science for protein design is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with yeast, phage, or mammalian display platforms is a plus.
