Axle is seeking a Science Program Analyst to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the Office of the Director (OD) located in Bethesda, MD. Position Summary & Objectives Gather, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support NIH efforts to: Prioritize human-based research Reduce and replace animal use in biomedical research, drug development, and regulatory testing Use Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI tools, as appropriate, to streamline portfolio analysis and report development Track and analyze legislative, policy, and scientific developments related to human-relevant, non-animal research methods Attend, summarize, and report on meetings related to human-relevant, non-animal methodologies Prepare briefings, reports, slide presentations, and talking points for senior leadership within DPCPSI/NIH
