About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Science Intern to be based in Chelmsford, MA.
This position is expected to begin June 2026.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
Intern will assist with collection of field data, reporting, and generating GIS based mapping, alongside AECOM field and office-based staff.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program from an institution in Geology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Geography/Regional Planning, Geographic Information Systems or other relevant field of study.
• Must have completed at least 3 years of study at the time of the internship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using ESRI ArcGIS software packages.
• Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D design software.

Responsibilities

• Intern will assist with collection of field data, reporting, and generating GIS based mapping, alongside AECOM field and office-based staff.
