Science Instructor (Full-Time) for the 2026-2027 School Year Certification/Qualifications: The successful candidate shall demonstrate strong organizational, communication, human relations, classroom management, team, public relations/community and instructional skills. Applicants should have a sincere interest in and a commitment to work with students, parents, staff, businesses, community organizations and associate district schools The instructor will teach various levels of science classes including, but not limited to, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Advanced Biology/Biology II, Forensics, Physics, Integrated Science and/or Advanced Chemistry at the 11 th and/or 12 th grade level. Applicants should have a Provisional License, Professional License, Permanent Certificate, Provisional Certification, or a Professional Certificate in Comprehensive or Integrated Science to teach the science courses listed above. Duties : The Science Instructor will work closely with the other science teachers to develop, maintain and promote the school’s science program. The science instructor will plan, direct and evaluate science instruction to meet the needs of junior and senior students in career-technical programs. The instructor will also plan, direct and evaluate the science curricula to meet the state of Ohio’s academic content standards. The instructor is required to have each science course student plan and develop a science fair project for the school’s yearly Science Fair. Contract: 2026-2027 full-time contract - 183 contracted days. Contract to begin Thursday, August 13, 2026.
