Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – 2025–2026 School Year – In‑Person Ampersand Therapy is hiring passionate Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2025–2026 school year! We offer full-time and part-time school-based positions, exclusively in-person. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
  • State of Illinois SLP license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in school settings
  • Conduct evaluations and write reports in alignment with IEP requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
  • Collaborate with special education and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation
