Now Hiring: School Safety Officer (10-Month Position) Location: New London High School Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about creating a safe, positive environment for students? New London High School is seeking a dedicated School Safety Officer to join our support team. This vital role helps maintain a secure, welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do: Patrol school buildings, grounds, and parking areas to ensure safety and order Build positive relationships with students and staff Enforce school rules, policies, and safety procedures Assist visitors and monitor access to facilities Report incidents and collaborate with law enforcement when needed Support emergency response and crisis management efforts

Requirements

• Experience working with youth
• Background in law enforcement or school security preferred
• Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Services, or related field
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
