About The Position

SUMMARY: The School Relations Representative is responsible for building and managing a portfolio of current and prospective school partners to form and deepen relationships, book retreats, and ultimately further the mission of Youth Frontiers. The School Relations Representative works closely with the Director of School Relations on building school and community partnerships and supporting departmental planning. Requirements

  • BA degree
  • Experience with CRM databases and Google Workspace
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to network, build relationships, and work with a diverse group of individuals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales related position

Responsibilities

  • School Relations Development and Retention
  • Maintain and build new school partnerships to meet individual goals developed in collaboration with the Director of School Relations through in-person meetings, phone/zoom calls, emails, and events.
  • Execute daily on YF School Relations Playbook with focus on personal outreach and opportunity development toward portfolio of core school partners
  • Generate outbound school outreach, and follow up on referrals and inbound school partner leads
  • Collaborate with marketing on school communications planning and development. Provide ideas, feedback, and tactical support as requested
  • Host current and prospective school partners at YF programs to cultivate mission interest and impact
  • Represent Youth Frontiers at community events and follow-up on prospective school partners
  • Support and attend YF-hosted events to build new school relationships and cultivate prospective school partners
  • Travel as needed
  • Partner School Retention
  • Maximize school partner retention by maintaining relationships through in-person meetings, phone/zoom calls, emails and other tactics established in YF School Relations Playbook and portfolio plans.
  • Connect with school partners in portfolio after every program to discuss client experience and gather feedback. Record findings in Salesforce and elevate intel to appropriate parties.
  • Serve as main contact for current and new school partners
  • School Partner Database Population and Reporting
  • Log all communications and activity in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Utilize CRM database correctly and consistently to ensure the platform remains as accurate and actionable as possible.
  • Track personal progress towards weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals including call and email cadence, meetings scheduled, new school partner generation and conversion rates
  • Review personal daily activity and productivity metrics
  • Contribute to weekly school relations reporting and other related reports as requested
  • Assist with annual data clean up projects as requested
