About The Position

The School Registrar is responsible for the accurate management and maintenance of student records. This role supports enrollment, course registration, data reporting, and compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. The Registrar plays a key role in ensuring efficient intake processes and providing high-quality service to a diverse adult student population.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or relative field with a minimum of three years related to information systems management or student information systems.
  • Prior experience in a K–12 school office, adult education program, or registrar role preferred
  • Knowledge of information systems, transcript management, and standard office software
  • Familiarity with adult education regulations, graduation requirements, and compliance standards preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume enrollment periods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Maintain professionalism, effective oral and written communication with internal and external business partners, employers, team leaders and students.
  • Collaborates with and maintains strong relationships with internal departmental teams, team leaders, and school administration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with diverse adult populations

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy of data tracking, monitoring, and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update student academic records, transcripts, and enrollment data
  • Process student registrations, transfers, withdrawals, and graduations.
  • Works closely with campus leadership to oversee daily school operations, improve efficiency, support staff and student needs.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student records including cumulative files, transcripts, attendance, credits earned, and graduation status
  • Verify and ensure the accuracy of student information in the student information system (SIS)
  • Respond to requests for transcripts, records, and enrollment verification
  • Collaborate with life coaches, administrators, and teachers regarding student data
  • Monitor and audit records for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and submit enrollment, attendance, and accountability reports required by district, state, or accrediting agencies
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records in accordance with FERPA and applicable regulations.
  • Supports student orientation and the enrollment process.
  • Additional job duties assigned by Director of Student Information Systems.
