About The Position
The School Registered Nurse Ambulatory provides health services to facilitate optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development for students within the schools. This role involves caring for students with chronic health issues and helping to identify health needs during the course of the school day. The nurse provides health education, medication management, emotional support, and referral to higher levels of care based on student needs. The position supports the education process by working to assure the health of the students and promotes healthy habits and overall health to strengthen maximum learning. This specific School RN opening is located on the north side in Noblesville, Indiana, with Noblesville Schools, and will support Noblesville High School. The position is for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, with the nurse starting in the summer of 2026.
Requirements
- Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- One year or more of nursing experience
- Two years of experience working with pediatric patients
