About The Position
The School Licensed Practical Nurse Ambulatory provides health services to facilitate optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development for students within the schools. This role involves caring for students with chronic health issues and identifying health needs during the school day. The LPN will provide health education, medication management, emotional support, and referrals to higher levels of care based on student needs. The position supports the education process by working to assure the health of students and promotes healthy habits and overall health to strengthen maximum learning. This school nurse position is located in Noblesville, Indiana, with Noblesville Schools, specifically supporting Noblesville West Middle School. The opening is for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, with the nurse starting in the summer of 2026.
Requirements
- Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or have three years related professional nursing experience
- Current Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- One year or more of nursing experience required
- Two years of experience working with pediatric patients required
