About The Position

As the School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating school health services. Your objective will be to maximize in-class time by reducing health-related absenteeism, minimize learning-impairing health problems, and foster the highest level of independent functioning possible.
Requirements
- Applicants must possess a master’s degree in School Psychology or a related discipline and hold valid licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with both in-person and remote responsibilities, is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct observations of students in classrooms and various school settings to gain valuable insights.
- Provide compassionate counseling, instruction, and mentoring to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Promote wellness and resilience by reinforcing communication skills, social skills, problem-solving abilities, anger management, self-regulation, self-determination, and optimism.
